Belgium (Brussels Morning Newspaper) In a bid to facilitate effective communication and engagement between organizations and the Labour Party, strategic communications agency Whitehouse Communications has unveiled the Labour Engagement Forum. This new body aims to provide businesses, charities, and campaigning organizations with valuable insights into Labour policy development and assist them in navigating the intricacies of the party’s decision-making processes.

Leading the Labour Engagement Forum are Max Wilson, Whitehouse’s UK Public Affairs Director and former Senior Political Adviser to the Leader of the Opposition, and Andy Tarrant, a seasoned parliamentary adviser with experience working alongside shadow ministers. Together, they will offer expert analysis, intelligence, and strategic counsel to clients, shedding light on the thoughts of key Labour Party figures, their political priorities, and the internal mechanisms driving policy development.

With a series of successful client acquisitions in the first half of 2023, Whitehouse Communications has consolidated its expertise in Labour policy, processes, and people into a specialized unit that is dedicated to helping campaigning organizations effectively engage with prominent Labour stakeholders. This includes engaging with Labour frontbenchers, members of the Shadow Cabinet, and the Leader’s Office.

Max Wilson, the UK Public Affairs Director at Whitehouse Communications, expressed his delight in launching the Labour Engagement Forum, citing increasing demand from clients for insights into the priorities of a future Labour government and strategies for engaging with key decision-makers in preparation for the next general election. He emphasized the importance of establishing a two-way street of communication, as the Labour Engagement Forum aims to provide clients with the necessary tools to constructively engage with the Labour Party while also ensuring that an incoming Labour government comprehends the needs and concerns of industry leaders from various sectors.

Whitehouse Communications looks forward to leveraging its expertise to assist both existing and new clients, fostering constructive working relationships with key figures within the Labour Party. The Labour Engagement Forum represents a valuable resource for organizations seeking to better understand Labour policies and effectively engage with the party’s decision-makers, ultimately contributing to a more informed and mutually beneficial dialogue between the public and private sectors.
