Belgium, (Brussels Morning Newspaper)  The UK has announced new sanctions against five Russian banks and three individuals over Ukraine. The move was announced by Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson in the House of Commons. He argued that the movement of Russian forces into breakaway regions of Ukraine was an invasion and warned that unless action is taken, the country could become the target of a full-scale war of aggression. He said he wanted to keep trying to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

The U.K. government has declared that the five Russian banks and three individuals will have their assets frozen in the UK. The sanctions will also bar them from doing business in the United Kingdom. The three individuals and two banks are the leaders of two Moscow-backed rebel regions in Ukraine. The UK has also barred the Rotenbergs from doing business in Britain. After the announcement, the British Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

In a statement, Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged world leaders to act immediately and punish Russia’s actions in Ukraine. He argued that sanctions should be swift and punishing to ensure international security. In a speech at the UN General Assembly, Johnson said the sanctions would be “a good start” for the negotiations between the two countries. The British government has repeatedly stated that the move is the only effective way to stop Russia from threatening Ukraine with further aggression.

The UK has announced a new round of sanctions against Russia. This move follows the EU and US announcements of sanctions against five Russian banks. The moves have been made because Russia has allegedly aided Ukraine’s government in stealing the country’s gas supply. The three oligarchs have been accused of violating Ukraine’s territorial integrity and have deployed troops in the region to act as peacekeepers.

The UK has also sanctioned three wealthy Russians in the country’s Crimea. The EU has been using the Crimea as a pretext to invade Ukraine. The Russians are still involved in the conflict and are provoking the conflict. Mr Johnson’s decision has also prompted widespread acrimony in the EU. However, the EU has no diplomatic relations with Russia and the Ukraine’s neighbors.

UK sanctions five Russian banks and three individuals over Ukraine

On Tuesday, the UK announced the imposition of sanctions against five Russian banks and three individuals. The move is part of the UK’s efforts to sever ties with Russia. The sanctions also target two billionaires in the country. They were previously sanctioned by the EU. The UK has also sanctioned nine other individuals. Its actions have been targeted on four Russian nationals. The two countries have no diplomatic relations and the Ukrainians have a long-standing history of invasion.
