Belgium, (Brussels Morning Newspaper) Anderlecht is a municipality in the Brussels-Capital Region. It is located in the south-western part of the region and borders the cities of Brussels and Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. If you’re planning a trip to the area, here are some of the best activities. This southern Belgian city offers plenty of opportunities to get outdoors. Its many parks and green spaces offer a great way to spend your time.

If you’re traveling with children, make sure to check out the museums in the city. There are also many activities for kids, including a visit to the Atlas Brewery. Anderlecht also has a museum dedicated to gueuze. The museum is located in a former industrial building that was once home to a textile mill. At the Place du Conseil, you can learn all about the history of the region and explore the many attractions in the area.

For those who love music, there are plenty of musical instruments to explore. The Musical Instruments Museum, otherwise known as MIm, has over 1,500 musical instruments. You can experience the sounds of the instruments while you’re enjoying a tour. Another place to visit is the Magritte Museum, featuring works by Belgian surrealist Magritte. The museum is free for children under the age of 18, and has free admission.

There are some museums in Anderlecht that are well worth visiting. The Maurice Careme Museum offers a chance to delve into the poet’s life and view his archive. The museum is free to enter, but you can also book a guided tour if you wish to learn more. If you’re not looking to spend a lot of money, check out the Royal Palace and Cemetery. The latter features large greenhouses and the Museum of the Far East.

There are many other things to do in Anderlecht, and you can explore the city’s surroundings on your own. The Grand Place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is a historic center with perfect 17th-century architecture. The vibrant social scene here has a rich heritage and history. There are also some museums that you can visit. You can even spend a day shopping in the nearby upscale department stores.

The city itself has several beautiful churches and cathedrals. The city is a quiet, countryside setting that has a lot of historical and cultural interest. Anderlecht is an excellent base for exploring the country’s many sites, including the stunning Anderlecht Football Club. The museum is open to visitors and offers a variety of experiences. In the heart of the city, you can also walk to the canal and see the town’s beautiful buildings.
