STIB strengthens bus lines to the cemeteries for All Saints’ Day

in Belgium News

On All Saints’ Day, November 1, STIB will adjust the timetable on various bus lines. This should facilitate the movements of travelers to the Brussels cemeteries.

The cemeteries of Schaarbeek, Brussels, Evere, Vogelenzang, Etterbeek and Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe are easier to reach than usual on Wednesday, November 1. That day, the routes of bus lines 59, 63, 73, 74 and 77 will be adjusted during the opening hours of the cemeteries.

Amendments

Bus lines 59 and 63 will be extended from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – and line 59 diverted – to the start of Bordet Station. This makes it easier to serve the Jules Bordet stop, near the cemeteries of Brussels, Schaarbeek and Evere. To better reach the Vogelenzang cemetery in the municipality of Anderlecht, line 73 from COOVI will be extended between 7:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. In addition, line 74 will be diverted from 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Finally, line 77 runs between 8:40 am and 4:15 pm to better reach the cemeteries of Etterbeek and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert.

STIB advises its travelers to consult the app or the site for more information about this adjusted timetable.
