New IKEA Store, Greenwich, London, England, April 2019; this is the 22nd UK IKEA Store. IKEA, founded in Sweden in 1943, is the world's largest retailer of ready-to-assemble or flat-pack furniture.

Belgium, (Brussels Morning Newspaper) Located at the heart of the city, a visit to the imposing warehouse of the Scandinavian furniture and housewares chain will leave you feeling refreshed and inspired. The chain has made a name for itself in the Belgian market as a place where everyone can find what they need without the fuss of going to a retail store. The interiors of the store are reminiscent of a Scandinavian factory, with a wide variety of products and a soaring atrium.

The newest store is expected to open this fall, and will be located at Chaussee de Mons 1432 in Brussels. Upon entering the store, you will see the infamous mondmasker, a drag with an impressive, but small, seating capacity. The acoustics are kept high in this space, so you’ll be able to hear your fellow diners and enjoy the food without feeling too cramped. It also offers free WiFi.

The newest addition to the IKEA chain in Brussels is the Moovit app, which allows you to see real-time bus and train schedules to and from IKEA. You can even find alternative routes and times for your journey using Moovit. Moovit is a free app with over 930 million users and makes it easy to plan your trip. The Moovit app also helps you figure out which routes are best for your schedule, including how many buses are available in Brussels.
