European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs voted with landslide majority 42 to 16 in favour of allowing Qatari nationals into the Schengen zone.
European Parliament grant Qatari national visa free entry to the Schengen zone. Citizens of Qatar therefore do NOT need a Schengen visa for short-term visits to the Schengen area. The bilateral agreement, between the European Union and the Qatar, allows citizens of the country to stay in the Schengen area without a visa for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
