The sustainable subsidy policy is aimed at a limited number of umbrella organisations. There are a number of conditions attached to the subsidy: for example, the umbrella must be formed from organizations that have existed for eight years or more and are active in a field that is included in the policy of the State Secretary for Equal Opportunities Nawal Ben Hamou (PS), think of racism and discrimination, accessibility for people with disabilities and support for single-parent families.
The subsidy may be used for personnel, infrastructure, communication and marketing. Anyone submitting an application must provide a clear description of the planning, budget and possible outcome of the project.
Project Subsidy And Innovation Subsid
In addition to the subsidy for the umbrella organisations, individual organizations can also apply for a subsidy for annual activities. Think of annual awareness campaigns and actions, such as parades and festivals or informative workshops. Organizations can also request a budget for activities of a permanent nature, such as a social permanence, publications or an informative website.
Finally, annual subsidies will continue to be awarded in the future via calls for projects, intended for innovative projects. In terms of themes, this grant goes slightly further than the themes laid down in the policy of the State Secretary. New, current phenomena are also taken into consideration. An example of such a topical application would be a grant request for a project on violence in nightlife.
A total annual budget of 2.9 million euros has been reserved for sustainable subsidies, annual subsidies and innovative projects.
